**All fees are based upon a 17 player roster.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION FOR U9 & U18 FOR 2026-2027 SEASON
We are excited to announce that registration for OVSS tryouts is now open for our U9 and U18 programs.
The tryout fee ($325 for U9 and $99 for U18) will include conditioning, a minimum of two tryout sessions and a tryout jersey. Please note that the number of conditioning sessions varies by age.
Note: Players trying out with OVSS are required to first register with their Home Association and pay a $25 competitive tryout fee.

Tryout Registration for U9 will close August 28.

Prior to registering for tryouts through OVSS, players must first register with their home association and pay a $25 administrative fee. Proof of registration will be required during this process.
The tryout fee of $285 will include a minimum of one conditioning session (excluding U16), a minimum of two tryout sessions and a tryout jersey.
Note: Tryouts for U14 players will be $335 and will also include a mandatory hitting clinic on May 4. Players who are still participating in the AAA process will not be expected to attend the mandatory clinic.

Non-Parent Team Fees:All players must divide the cost equally of the honorarium per the policy.
Financial assitance is available to help OVSS members that would suffer undue hardship as a result of the Silver Seven registration fees and other various costs to help ensure every child can participate fully. For more details please complete and submit the application linked below.
To be considered for assistance, this application must be completed in full and include an explanation as to why help is needed, and also have a copy of all required documents (i.e. copy of previous taxation year’s return, etc.)
The Finance Committee of OVSS consisting of the Registrar, Treasurer & President will hold applications in confidence.
Banquet: Saturday, April 3, 2027 located at Almonte Civitan Hall (500 Almonte Street, Almonte, ON., K0A 1A0)
Each team requested to provide a raffle prize. Value $60 minimum. Player tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Equipment:
Socks– Supplied by Association and player keeps.
Jerseys– To be returned to the Association as per Equipment care instructions.Jersey deposit: $250 to team manager
Shells -To be purchased by player through team manager
Hockey Bag:S7 hockey bags are mandatory item/gear for new Novice and Minor Atom players, they are at an additional cost to the player. Please check with your team manager or order directly with Pro2Col.
Garment Bag:All players MUST use a garment bag; the fee is chargeable to the player. Please speak to your team manager.
Name Bars:All players must have matching name bars, your team manager will coordinate.
Uniform:Black or white laces only, black helmet, black skates, black & white gloves (no color). No stickers on helmets except certifications or S7 logo. Hockey stick tape is white or black only.
